Applicable Law, Jurisdiction, and Venue

The terms of this agreement will be governed by the law of the State of Oregon. The state and federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any case or controversy arising from or relating to this agreement, Griffith Law, or the services provided by its attorneys. If conducted in person, all court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations shall be held in Multnomah County, Oregon.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from the Website or your use of the Website shall first be discussed by the parties directly in good faith. If the parties cannot resolve their dispute through direct communications, the parties agree to submit their dispute to a mutually agreeable mediator. If the parties cannot agree on a mediator, then either party may ask a court of competent jurisdiction to select a mediator for the parties. If mediation is unsuccessful, or one of the parties refuses to participate in good faith with the mediation process, the parties will submit their dispute to a mutually agreeable arbitration in writing, and the arbitrator shall resolve the parties’ dispute upon written submission.
